God Bless his innocent soul and may he rest in peace...
What's to be said when nothing is enough to console a mother's broken heart, a wife's endless tears and a child still waiting for that lovable dad to come back home...
We can't bring Dr.Basil or Mr.Hariri back.... but they will always be present in our life. They are the hereos of our true independence, and they will be remembered anytime we walk, we breath, we eat, we sleep, we smile or we cry in our New, Free, ALL LEBANESE LEBANON...
We will be ever so grateful for what Lebanon is becoming because of you.
Our only promise is that all faithfull and true Lebanese will keep searching for the truth no matter how long it will take. AND NO! TIME WILL NOT HEAL OUR WOUND! we've changed forever.
Don't cry sweet mom, sweet wife sweet child, Basil is a hero and that keeps him alive among us forever.

Just another Sad and Strong Lebanese.

I was deeply saddened by the death of Bassil. My sincere condolences to his wife and children, to his mother and brother. May god bless his soul and may he rest in peace.

Today, an angel got his wings....i am sure of it! I never knew a thing about Bassil Fuleihan before the awful explosion but after hearing and reading about him, I have eternal admiration for him,
his beliefs and his accomplishments. I guess, after all, it is not the "quantity" but the "quality" of life that counts. Congratulations Bassil on a life well lived! Keep an eye on Lebanon from up there because we sure can use your help!!!! To his family, I offer my condolences and hope that you concentrate on the blessings that God bestowed upon you by making you part of the life of such a great man. To those who are responsible for his death, I shudder at the thought of the day you meet your maker. Bassil is eternally at peace with his maker!

May you rest in peace, Basil.

Dear Basil:

Insha’Allah, you, PM Hariri and the others who fell with you are in a better place.

Your were always a gentle soul: upright, polite, positive and caring.

You were always a thinker, a doer, a leader …

You lived very full and productive years and you gave abundantly. In the end you gave your own soul.

I pray that you rest in peace and that Allah admits you to His Eternal Grace.

Innalillahi, wainna ilayhi rajeoun…

In deep sorrow, I salute you my dear classmate, my dear friend …

You died twice...
More than two months of physical and psychological agony that ended with a second death.
May you rest in peace, and God be with your small children and family..

Fouad & Mona Bawarshi

Dearest Basil, forgive us if we cry as it's hard to say good bye.
It broke our hearts to lose you,but you did not go alone.A part of us went with you.
It is hard to believe that no longer do we hear your voice and no longer do we see your smiling face, but memories will last for ever.
You maybe be gone but never forgotten. We shall always remember the prints you left on so many things and on so many people in this country.
We can't forget that in a world filled with distrust, you brought trust; and in a world filled with hate, you brought love.
You had so much more to do and your parting will leave a void that can't be easily replaced.
In God’s hand you may rest till we all meet again.

Dear Auntie Rida,Yasma & Ramzi,
It is difficult to find the right words to comfort you.May you feel HIS presence as we pray for your hearts to be comforted during this difficult and sad time.
Our sincere condolences to the whole family and friends of our dearest Basil. God bless you.
