Basil remains in a critical but stable condition at the burn center in Paris where he is being treated. His doctors are monitoring his condition and hoping for some improvement over the weekend, in which case a surgical intervention might be possible.

No words can explain the ugliness of this terrorized accident-this collusion-that did not only seek Mr. Hariri in person, but all the Lebanese people, and lead to the death of Hariri and some of his companions.
Basil Fuleihan, you are of Hariri's companions that God blesses and saved you from death, that terrible day. And I’m sure that the Lord who saved you from death that Monday, the 14th of Feb, won’t stop of blessing you and will always be looking after u, with his merciful eye and may heal you soon to get back to your beloved Lebanon in a healthy condition.
We, all the Lebanese, all over the world, are proud of you, praying for the Lord so you recover your illnesses soon and be in a good condition day after day.
